Childhood Friends

There's nothing better than going back home and getting to see and catch up with all your best friends. Childhood friends are unlike adult friends because they've been with you for what feels like for forever. They were with you through your awkward middle school phase, and for someone to still be my friend after what I looked like in that stage of my life says a lot. They know you better than anyone else and it doesn't matter how long it's been since you've talked or seen them. They're there for you through everything.

This past weekend I went home and got to see my four best friends and let me tell you they're amazing people. Spending time with them is the best way for me to de-stress and revamp myself for school.

  1. You are fortunate to still see your friends from childhood. After many moves and life happening, I don't see any of those friends any more.

  2. Old friends are like a good cleansing breath. It's like you were never apart.

  3. I love having those friends where you can pick up right where you left off. My best friend is moving to Corvallis on the first and I'm very disappointed!

  4. It is a great feeling to have friends that you have known for a long time; they feel like family.

  5. Friends are just so great aren't they! Especially special friends like you have described in your slice. Friends who sincerely care and that are always there. It is so comforting to know that there are people out there that can always put a smile on your face.
